I listened this morning. Fascinating discussion. I am reading The Master and his Emmisary and it is extremelyengaging. His more recent book is still too expensive, but I'll get to it in time.
I was once a member of Leaves in the Wind but must admit to not caring for the tone, the spirit, of the place at all. This does look interesting, however. I shall genuinely look forward to giving it at least a short listen. Thank you as always for the pointer!
I would recommend checking out the conversation between China Meville, Richard Seymour, and David Hart as well! Regardless of one’s politics, it remains thought-provoking.
I understand, perhaps—I learn a lot at LitW, but there’s occasionally a little too much obsequence in the comments. I would only bow and scrape before his dog, myself.
Thank you for the tip, John. I'm listening to the above interview right now, enjoying it immensely, so shall certainly look into that other conversation as well. And yes, the obsequence over there could sometimes elicit an eye-roll, and some other behaviors...But enough! This is brilliant stuff and I am so grateful to be listening to it!

Well Roland deserves no less, surely.
