This post is out of the ordinary for this Substack, but if you’re interested in what sort of religion is opposed to everything I usually write about here and, to say it plainly, Christ’s gospel and all classical Christian faith and practice, George Galloway describes it with no bashfulness in the video below. I am, of course, aware that Galloway has a mercurial and controversial reputation (most honest public persons do); that said, I’m not averse to posting the opinions of such people when their views coincide with mine. I will return to the subject Galloway addresses below from my own, more typical perspective soon. In the meantime, here’s Galloway:

George Galloway is routinely dismissed as a firebrand, no matter the subject. And Trump, Pete Hegseth, Netanyahu, and the many others who populate the current spectacle? Labels come easily, rarely evenly.
Thank you for posting this. Outrage, when it breaks through the usual filters, can sometimes direct attention where it does not otherwise go. Perhaps it will prompt more people to look more closely at the devastation now unfolding in Iran—with no clear end in sight. Certainly no victory for whoever the victors are.
